Getting ready to install a line lock

And I was doing some research. Seems supposedly the easy way is to go from the bottom and remove the line from the MC and the proportioning valve and slide the assembly up.

My question, if I unscrew the line from the MC will it drain all the fluid from the MC or just what? Trying to figure out if I have ebough of everything or if I and going to need some more fluid.

No only a few drops come out. I would suggest installing it from the top. Took me and my buddy (mostly him)like 15 min to install it. And screw that mounting crap the lines hold that sucker firm.
