I've got a 1988 Mustang GT in the shop with stock brakes (aftermarket pads, factory calipers & drums). Car came in because front brakes would drag after ~5 minutes of driving. Have already replaced: Pads, calipers, caliper slide pins, master cylinder, and brake hoses. It is not a wheel bearing issue, as when I crack bleeder loose, the wheels free up. The check valve going to the booster is good, bench tested it. Have also adjusted the rod going into the MC, no change. Vehicle has a Hurst line-lock. Initially thought that was the culprit, but have removed it completely during testing, brakes still hang up. Could the booster be holding pressure on the MC? Also thought it might've been the proportioning valve, but both sides hang up about the same. Just about out of ideas on this one.
