Im putting my brake system together and had a coulpe questions..

1st, just to be sure the 93 cobra 1in bore MC uses bubble flare line, right?
my problem is I cant find 1/4in bubble flare fitting, It seems that bubble flare fittings only come in 3/16 size. I have a flare making tool so thats not a problem, but I just can find any 1/4 in fittings for bubble flare or am I missing something?

Also my car came as a bare chassis, It had no brake system in it. So I have no distro block/prop valve...however I do have an adjustable prop valve for the rear that came with my baer brake kit.. So I called Baer and this is what we came up with .. what do you think, any problems?

I think that possibly the IF ( inverted flare) fitting will work with the bubble flare..

Im looking at some now, I think there are two different BF bubble flare fitting, euro and british.. the sae IF fitting have a bevel in for the flare to sit in, as do the euro bubble flare , Im looking at what is the british type bubble flare and it has a flat non beveled end for the bubble flare.

If this is correct, then the IF and BF fittings (or pipe nuts) are compatible..

is this right ?

The factory prop valve is actually a combination valve. It houses the prop valve and the shuttler valve.

The shuttle valve's purpose is to shut off fluid flow if a line in either the front or rear brake system develops a leak or fails.

Your modified setup does not have this feature at all, so if a brake fails, you will have total brake failure.

I thought the same thing too, about the shuttle valve.. However after speaking with SSBC and baer and Maximum Motorsports,.. I have found that it would only be true if I was using the stock 3 port MC.. BUt with the new 2-port 93 cobra 1 in bore MC... it has the feature built into the MC..

Can anyone give any imput on the line flaring..

thanks
