I'm restoring my 1965 Mustang FB and now need to replace all 6 pieces of glass. Firstly, was green tinted glass an option in 1965? Secondly, any recommendations on suppliers of glass that will be as close as possible to what was used originally? Thanks for any info and advice.
I haven't bought any my self ,but i know a couple who have bought some .It comes in a light shade green like factory ,clear , and i believe they have a dark glass. Carlite is the best for the wind shield ,its a bit more expensive but worth it . Try the guys at www.stang-aholics.com Ryan has a good source and he can can get it all . I will be buying a full set of 70 fastback soon ...I hope!
