I wonder what the dealer mark up on that would be.
Also, would it hurt the resale value as far as collectibility?

i am not 100% sure on everything that gets modified for the installation of the glassback, but i dont see why you could not return to a normal roof if needed. worst case scenario, you need to purchase a few more sheetmetal parts than just the roof. nothing worse than replacing the roof skin in any other car.

The dealership I got my Shelby at had a Saleen with the glass roof. It looked awesome, but it was HOT. They said it didn't have any kind of shade either. I'd check to see if they make a shade for it.

I saw the glass roof when i bought my car and my salesman said they would do it for an extra $5000,

I thought the stripes were optional? They didn't have to have them?

Pretty sure I've seen at least a couple GT500's with no stripes.

Seen 4-5 without strips posted on ebay,It makes the hood look different

5% tint would probably help out, A LOT. I know it helped a bunch on my old 97 Mustang. I had 5% on the back three and 25% on the front windows and the interior temps dropped SIGNIFICANTLY in the mid summer Texas heat.
