I have a CDC Glassback, an aftermarket glass roof. The Ford 09 glass roofs will not be retractable. There may be a retractable glass roof option from Saleen, not sure if it will be just an option for their cars or if you can have it installed on a current car. Not many details of that has been released yet.

But to answer your question, it is my understanding that the Ford 09 glass roof option will not be available as an aftermarket addition. From the pictures of the Ford glass option, it appears to similar to my CDC glass back in that they put a hole on the roof leaving a "frame" of structure left. The glass then lays over this. The part inside in "frame" seems to be lighter than the glass over this "frame". My CDC glassback is more of a continuous dark glass appearance. See image below:

thank you, its kind of disapointing that it isnt a aftermarket part, but i guess ill live, nice car, i read the from saleen the roof will slide over the back window so it might just be from saleen that that option would be from

I'd love the have the money to spend for the Glass BackI love the way it looks on the VB
Did that come with a entirely new headliner as well? It looks like it was premade rather than modifying the original one.
