Here is the question. It's not amustang but a 20s Ford Tractor. I have hunted and searched for the correct way to hook up a GM 10SI 3 wire alternator. I know how where the main connection goes, but what about the plug? I have read so much that I know the three wire has voltage sensing and all that stuff. But no where is an easy diagram. Which connection from the plug goes to the remote sensing wire, and which goes to the ignition switch?

Also If it doesn't have a light or guage I need a diode for back feed. Whcih one should I get?

Thanks all. I did the generator conversion on my 64 1.2 soooo long ago I cannot remember other then I jumped the "R" terminal directly to the "batt" terminal on the alternator. Its worked but for some reason this new alternator won't work that way.
