Bumpin' from the dead.

The new LX will soon be here. I have it and the other police vehicle pre-ordered already. I like it, but I noticed the tail lights are incorrect for the year unless that's just a pre-production photo.

They made 3 versions of a 1985 GT

There was also a 1985 notchback drag car and a black 1985 GT.

They did make a 1986 SVO.

Did you ever get yours?

I did the pre-order, but I never got a confirmation, card was never charged and I have no idea if it shipped. A few emails to the company went unanswered.

Just wondering if i'm free to preorder off Ebay, or just keep waiting...

I got confirmation of my pre-orders for both new cars. Though they didn't provide an estimated shipping date, they did say that I would be charged when they were ready to go. I thought they'd be out by now

The ebay ads are claiming first week of June as ship date.

My confirmation email might have gone to the junk folder, but that gets dumped after 30 days and I didn't check in time.

So I have no idea if I bought one.

Did you ever get pics of the FBI car? I'd like to order one, but I'd like to see it first.

EDIT: Did you also happen to notice the trend in rising sold prices for the 1992 GT? Seeing almost $300 for those two models.

Just got an email that the Vermillion LX will be here next month. They say there are only 100 left (as of a couple days ago). I picked up a couple and a couple FBI pursuit cars.

Cool stuff! I have a ton more than just GMP, but they're still my favorite line. Shelby Collectibles would have to be a close second these days, though.

I just saw Acme advertise the FBI Pursuit Vehicle photos. Is it me or does it seem like it's the original Fox Body mold w/the overly-slanted headlights?

That's it definitely one of the 1st Gen molds. Probably modeled after one of the SSP cars.

IIRC, that's the only coupe that GMP did. Everything else was hatch or convertible. So unless they build new molds, they kinda had no choice but to revive that mold
