Well guys i need your help in a big way!!! I kinda started a thread awhile ago about an alarm that was goin off in my car but i cant find it so im gonna start over!!

So about 2 months ago or so i was in my dash to remove a stupid flashing airbag bulb, but when i put the dash back together i went to start my car and when i did some sort of alarm went off it was a series of like 4 or 5 beeps that went off like 3 times in a row and then it wouldnt go off again untill i had driven the car for about a half an hour!!! Well now its WORSE!!!! Got into my dash today to replace the speedo cable and while i was in there i put a bad bulb back in the air bag socket hopeing to fix the problem. WRONG :notnice: got the rest of the dash put back together and started the car and now the alarm wont go off at all!! ITS TERRIBLE. And the only other thing i noticed when i was in the dash that could be wrong is 2 of the prongs have pushed them selves out of the hazard switch plug, idk if that could be a problem to? Because my hazards still come on and blink!! ANY HELP would be amazing!!!

THANKS GUYS
Hill

The beeps you are hearing has to do with the air bag you need to unplug it and see if the noise stops. Just take the neg battery cable off and positive cable off the battery and wait two minutes before unpluging anything. Go to the front of your gt and look behind the bumper up top and you will see the left side sensor and the right side sensor located behind the headlights and the center sensor is located behind the grille bolted to the radiator support and the other sensor is mounted behind the trim panel in the left-side b-pillar.Just unplug all the airbag sensors and plug back up the battery and see if the noise stops.

That is an alarm to tell you that there is a fault in the airbag system. I had the same problem and so I disconnected the air bag computer. It is a blue box that is above the radio. Its kind of a pain to get too, but once you unplug it the beeping will stop.
