goin to build a motor

II am sure you were expecting this answer but it depends. It depends if you want to just dump a couple grand in the short block and build something like a 347 and not have any money to finish the long block, or spend minimal money on the short block so you have money to get a ncie set of heads and intake. With that kind of money I would spend like less than a grand on the short block, have it machined .30 over an use stock crank and rods, and change the pistons. Change all the bearings, and seals, and then spend the rest of the money on a nice set of aluminum heads, and get a used intake.

Buy a used setup and have it onced over by your builder or buy from someone reputable.

I think a buddy of mine is offing a 306 with gt40 x's on it for around there if not a tad more that runs freaking amazing. Not pushing that one, but saying there are good deals out there depending on how crazy you want something to be. Ive 3k in my entire topend prolly, not including the blower and I definately need a shotblock now....just something to thing about.

well eventually im guna put a 347 pro bullet short block wit trick flow twisted wedge heads but im guna go with a carburator set up n I wana put a super charger on it to wen I build that motor im guna build it all out so Idk I kinda wantd to get something that was better then wat I have now but Idk if my set up on the Stang can handle to much more power
