If you want to see how much torque your car makes go out and put it in 5th gear and kick it at 3,000rpms and see how much power you DO NOT have. Why? Because your supercharger cannot build boost because of the gearing in 5th gear. Now go out in a turbocharged car and kick it in 5th and feel how much power it does have. Why?
