Hello,

I had a few friends recommend this forum to me as a good place to put my car up for sale.

This is one hell of a deal for anyone serious about drag racing...

I am listing my 2000 Mustang project for sale. I have every receipt for all items listed here, as well as labor. Over 50k invested.

The rear end is all that is left to make this thing run 8's (well, excluding meeting necessary SFI requirements with the cage add-ons, parachute, and such). The engine has 5 low-power dyno pulls to 6000rpms, 2 12-second track runs for testing before the turbo was on it, and 500 highway miles. The body and rear have 105,000 GENTLE, mostly highway miles. This car does not see snow, not driven in the rain, and I take excellent care of it aesthetically.

ISSUES
The car is currently drivable. It needs to be re-tuned since the current one is very conservative for break-in purposes. Rear spring perch needs to be replaced- otherwise it squeaks a little (the rest of the entire suspension is brand new). Passenger side valve cover has a pinhole leak at the gasket.

WHY AM I SELLING IT?
I got bit by the racing bug a few years back. Loved every second of it. I built this thing up and before I could even put it on the track I found out I couldn't race anyways for a number of reasons (situational, medical, financial). I am also moving in 3 weeks and have no options to bring it with me. Perhaps it just wasn't meant to be. This is still a work in progress. Don't expect this to run flawlessly and be able to drive cross country- it needs a tune and a small bit of money and time to get it back to perfect streetability. The way it sits now I can drive it to work and around town with no problem- just annoyingly loud and such. The exhaust pops a bit from the tune, but a new tune would take care of it in a heartbeat.

ASKING PRICE: $18,000 firm - seller is forcefully MOTIVATED

TRADES ACCEPTABLE:
C5 / C6 Corvette (auto only)
'10+ GT (auto only)
Others negotiable that are streetable and auto only
Auto only due to recent wrist/arm injury and long-term pain.
I'd have to ask that trades be worth more than the 18k asking price. I only listed it that low because in this economy it might be tough for someone to scrounge up that amount of cash.

INQUIRIES:
If you have a serious inquiry on this, please let me know what information I can provide you with; video, pictures, etc.

This is pick-up only. You will need a trailer- this isn't meant for long drives at the moment. With a smaller turbo and some other minor changes, it could be much more streetable.

I will check back here religiously, and you can expect a very prompt response from me. I have 3 weeks to sell this before I move.

Thank you for reading!!
