Because of cylinder pressure IMHO I always stop around 600-660rwhp if the car is making 17-18 or below..After that I would use a octane adder like Amsol.

I have to ask about porting and cams now because I can see that without a supporting valvetrain and heads the power level just wont be what I really want if I* were to get the turbo setup. Boy, and what I had in mind was just a simpe s-trim with an impeller upgrade and call it quits.

Sure, and have a transmission that you saw on too fast and too furious to withstand that power too. Go back to "talk".......you have no business in tech.

Ok Tim, you want to prove me wrong then here is your chance. You have never been able to in the past maybe you can now. (remember how you argued with me about how flowmasters don't make less power than a straight through muffler? )

The thread originally started with GTblack_00, me, and micool. Now I stated that superchargers did not make torque. Yea, I should have said centrifugal superchargers do not make power because any supercharger that replaces that upper and lower intake on an engine will make gobs of torque. But anyways I was talking about a centrifugal to clear things up. GTblack_00 said he didn't want to make more than 600rwhp that would put him in the D1 area so the drag superchargers don't matter to him. So I told him that centrifugal superchargers don't make torque and he and micool asked why. Well since i pointed out that micool was making over 150 more hp and tq he blew up and said that I was a F&F guy and blah blah blah. Well he hasn't replied to my post so maybe you can clear things up for me. Have at it buddy...

If you want to see how much torque your car makes go out and put it in 5th gear and kick it at 3,000rpms and see how much power you DO NOT have. Why? Because your supercharger cannot build boost because of the gearing in 5th gear. Now go out in a turbocharged car and kick it in 5th and feel how much power it does have. Why? Because at 3,000rpms in 5th it will build boost.

Your'e 15.

I don't see where micool "blew up". He simply proved that a centrifugal blower can indeed make torque. He never said a turbo wouldn't make torque, never said it wouldn't make more than a centrifugal, never said you were a "2f2f guy" (just made reference to a ridiculous thread you started), so what's YOUR problem. I wouldn't reply if I were him either as he has nothing to prove to someone with a permit looking at his dads' car in the garage every night. Matter of fact it seems as though he apologized for getting off track. Did you?

Well if you want to bring up that we can and I'll prove you wrong again.
My car,729rwhp with flows. My car with Magnaflows..No gain....I tried every possible combo to make more power,so pplease dont go there with me..I actually test stuff.Unlike you..Hell ask WHT99 here(ya know, the moderator).H lsot hp when he switched form flows to magnaflows.

Again,I made 300 more fttq then hp on my car with a F1-r..So your arguement is?

I'll argue all day long with you..I tune/build these things all day long while your posting about all your knowlegde hoping somone will think your the "man".

hehehe..If your in there I would o the upgrades. Its cheaper to do it now.

Turbo's are cool as well as superchargers. You can go just as fast and make just as much power with either if your combo is setup right.Apples to apples, equal cfm the Turbo will always out do a supercharger.

So you are telling me that 2 CHAMBERED mufflers don't make more power than straight through mufflers? Thats funny because on the dyno (as I've said before) my car made 6rwhp more with straight pipes and 7rwhp more with magnaflow 2.5" 4" mufflers over the flowmaster chambered mufflers I had. Again Tim, given the supercharger series I am talking about (below 600rwhp. D1 and equal) superchargers prove my quote wrong.

ok, you got me for another minute, you know the cost of the longblock I described in my first post. I didnt originally plan on really doing that much of a motor, soo I dont have the money for anything else except maybe the oil pan and windage tray right now, maybe in a few months.

So now we are setting a standard on the power adder?Arguing with you is pointless..I'll tell ya what, whn you make 600-700-800-900rwhp then come tell me "how its going to be".

And yes,I made NO gains..Did I type to fast for you?WHT99 actually lost HP.Ask him.
Your car may have gained HP but my 700rwhp car did not.Miccols wont nor will the other 10 plus 600rwhp cars we have built.
So now you want to argue mufflers?
I'll tell you what, you obviously have it all figured out.Give me your phone number, perhaps with all your vast knowledge we could use you as a consultant on these 24 mustangs Ihave sitting here right now that have been shipped to us from all over the country. All of them want 600-1000rwhp.Maybe you could help us get there.I have no idea how Im going to live up to thier expectations. But maybe with monkie in my corner I can find my way past 480rwhp..

You can have the thread Monkie..Spread your knowledge brotha..
