ok, you got me for another minute, you know the cost of the longblock I described in my first post. I didnt originally plan on really doing that much of a motor, soo I dont have the money for anything else except maybe the oil pan and windage tray right now, maybe in a few months.

Josh. Why not a 4.6 GT?..They can make over 600rwhp with a blower if done right.
If money is tight, then alteast do the oil pan.we have over 15 engines here to rebuild for people. All have spun rod bearings from sucking the oil pan dry.

So now we are setting a standard on the power adder?Arguing with you is pointless..I'll tell ya what, whn you make 600-700-800-900rwhp then come tell me "how its going to be".

Abd yes,I made NO gains..Did I type to fast for you?WHT99 actually lost HP.Ask him.
Your car may have gained HP but my 700rwhp car did not.Miccols wont nor will the other 10 plus 600rwhp cars we have built.
So now you want to argue mufflers?
I'll tell you what, you obviously have it all igured out.Give me your phone number, perhaps with all your vast knowledge we could use you as a consultant on these 24 mustangs Ihave sitting here right now that have been shipped to us from all over the country. All of them want 600-1000rwhp.Maybe you could help us get there.I have no idea how Im going to live up to thier expectations. But maybe with monkie in my corner I can find my way past 480rwhp..

You can have the thread Monkie..Spread your knowledge brotha..

Why do you ALWAYS bring up the power thing between us when you get pissed that you can't prove me wrong? Yes we are setting a standard on the power adder because it would be false for me to tell him that a Paxton supercharger is the **** because I had a chain driven supercharger in mind. Then he goes and get the street Paxton supercharger and its not what I said. So I kept it in his area (below 600rwhp). And you have YET to prove me wrong. Here I will post up my quote again. Please be quick too because I have things to do today.

If you want to see how much torque your car makes go out and put it in 5th gear and kick it at 3,000rpms and see how much power you DO NOT have. Why? Because your supercharger cannot build boost because of the gearing in 5th gear. Now go out in a turbocharged car and kick it in 5th and feel how much power it does have. Why? Because at 3,000rpms in 5th it will build boost.

I'm waiting Tim... And lets keep this somewhat mature and not throw around the personal insults k?

I apologize for calling you a name. I just didn't appreciate you jumping on my case and being off topic. I'll edit my post. Again, sorry man. That was dumb of me. But yes, they do make those mufflers.

OK. Here's the final edict.

This has turned into a pissing contest. Name calling will not be allowed in the tech forums. Monkie, it sounds like you are trying at all costs to sound superior. 110 octane is not pump gas. I don't care if you get it on the street or not. Pump gas stops at 93. Period.

Turbos do make good hp. Turbos do make good tq. But what's the point? One car will have more tq down low than another. Big deal. That doesn't make it right for that particular application. But disparaging centri's in order to make you sound good is a low blow, and only helps with your diminishing credibility.

I'm locking this one down. Don't bother starting another.
