im going back to the stock air setup. i have it here and was matching things up, there is one extra connection on the bbk cai over the stock one. im wondering if this is just left unplugged or where it goes?

it is on the passenger side of the cai, just above the maf. then there is the other two fittings up the inlet more like the stock one has. i took two pics to help show what im talking about.

any idea what i do with this connector?

This thread is a great example of how important the ability to communicate effectively can be.

It's the IAT, but I don't see why your stock hose wouldn't have it. Unless you don't have the stock stock hose. Like if it was for a different year, you wouldn't have it. But obviouslly, since you have the plug. Your stock one should have it

its a hose from an 02, i asked if the inlet setup was the same and was told yes by several people.

i cut a hole in the tube and mounted the iat, it works fine. car is actually alot faster then it was with that cold air crap. idle drops faster/smoother and is all around better driving.

ok, that's why you didn't have the hole for it then. 2002's didn't have an IAT

yea, i was just confused. i made a thread before and asked if they were all the same. i was told yes, so i figured it would be a straight forward swap.

i cut the hole in it, and put rtv around the fitting so it shouldn't be a problem.

thanks for the help.
