It is a direct swap--no relocating any of the holes.
Need to drill 1 hole at the rear of the door for a screw. The pony has its own type of retaining clip. Readily available through aftermarket.
Door handle mechanism is different--it's longer. Readily available through aftermarket.
Are you tall? The pony pistol grip door handle sticks out quite a distance. It interfered with my knee when I speed shifted my 4 speed Mustang, I ended up reinstalling the stock handle mechanism and door handle in the pony panel. I think I used some washers for proper spacing. Here is a comparison shot:
Window handle mechanism is identical to the standard interior so no problems there.
Another thing to consider is the the arm rest is different and will require an L shaped bracket to attach it to the door. The door should have holes already for it and you will need to add the clip on nuts.
You will also need to add the pony door cups and the cup pads. A special chrome excrusion (sp) is used under the pony pistol grip handle. Don't forget the inner and outer C shaped chrome trim, it doesn't come with the door panel. Again, readily available through the aftermarket, although expensive. I usually find mine at swap meets--about $50 to do both doors.
