My radiator blew the other day for the third time in a year and a half of owning my car. Is there any reason you guys can think of that it would do this? Surely I haven't gotten three radiators in a row that were defective. I've tried two different brands (Visteon and some other brand I can't remember). Should I try a heavy duty one this time around or just go get this one warrantied?

That is one weird problem. Get a new radiator cap, and make sure your overflow bottle is vented. Do you have the right coolant in there. Sometimes mixing different color coolants causes a chemical reaction and makes the tanks explode.

There could be an electrical short running through the radiator via the mounting points or something rubbing, electrolysis can occur and weaken and thin the aluminum.
