What do you guys think of that? Is it a bit over priced?? How much should I try to bargain the guy down too?

That's a good price! I you get it for 14000-14500, you would have a great car at a good deal. I paid 15000 for mine with 18K miles 2 weeks ago. Exactly the same as that one but with a Mach 1000 stereo system. I pay 81.00 a month insurance...32 years old and no tixs. State Farm...Word!

2100 a year at Mercury insurance. 7 years driving experience. I heard insurance goes down dramtically after 8 years, is this true?
8 years? In Massachusetts its 6 years. I just got my 6 years driving experience credit and I saved about $900 a year in insurance! I was paying like $3100 in 10 months...now I only pay $2000 in 10 months. yay MOre free money to Mod up the car more HEHEHEHEHE

What do you think of the Mach 1000?

I guess I should say that I'm only 24, that's why my insurance is so different!

You're insurance rate will depend on where you live. Some states have cheap auto insurance, some states are expensive. Depends on the amount of cars per square mile on the road on average in your state. Also depends on whether or not your state is a "no fault" state.

I live in New Jersey, can't get any worse insurance rates. I had a bad driving record from when I was 17 getting into trouble with my Thunderbird SC. I've had a clean record for the last 3 years. So I pay $2200 a year for two vehicles on my policy through Proformance in NJ. Liability on the truck and Full coverage on the car. But my truck is the primary vehicle on my policy. If it was the other way around, I'd be paying alot more. I just turned 23, and when I turn 25 supposedly my insurance drops quite a bit.

The price seems to be in the right range. I ran a Kelly Blue Book pricing report for your zip code, and it lists at Retail price as approximately $18,000, and the private party sale price (assuming exellent condition) at about $15,500. Looks like a pretty good deal. Id offer a firm $15000 and see what he says.

My insurance is as follows on my 2002 GT: 28/clean record/San Diego/ $600 /6 mos.

Most of the Mustang owners I know are insured through State Farm. At 32, I used to pay about $700 when it was my primary car. Now I have an Olds Ciera as the primary, and it is ~$620/6mths for both.

The Mach 1000 is decent and does the job. The bass is a bit lacking IMO, and the more bass intensive music like techno and hip-hop just don't work out. I'm close to pulling the thing out and throwing my old 12's in there.

I'M SELLING MY **SUPERCHARGED GT** FOR 21,000......

if you want a fast car, (i kick cobras bad) for less than newer gt's.....let me know

check my sig for mods

Move along, this isn't AutoTrader. :notnice:

And new GT's go for around $18k, so quit lying to yourself.

I paid $16,000 +/- for my 02 with leather,Mach 460 etc., with 9,278. That included the dealer fee's, tax, and reg. I got it from a dealer Lafayette Ford. It was a Blue Oval Certified so I got 3.9% int. and the 6 year 75,000 warranty. I like to think I got a good deal. But this is NC not MA. I'm from MA and recently moved back here to NC. MA has state regulated insurance. All limits and costs are set by the state, it is a crock. I pay about 90 per month here now with a $100 deductable through USAA. My 03 Trailblazer is still reg in MA and it costs $1400 a year. Goodluck in your search.
