Well Im takeing the new ride to the dyno to get some baseline numbers before the mods begin in a couple weeks. Im looking for around 270hp and 275tq, the only mod is the dam Borla side exhaust. What do you guys think? Oh yea it has had the "Fix" from the factory also. I'll post the dyno sheet tonight when I get home.

thanks, Ive done some research on it and the 99's put out right at the 270 mark after they had the factory fix so im hopeing everything is good and it lays down what it should. It feels plenty strong on the street so Im not expecting any problems.

You must have not seen my recent threads , I got a great offer on my 98 last week........10 grand for my car and the new motor . The guy that got it is a regular vistor to the speed-shop where all my work is done, so he already knew of my car and was aware of the new motor I had and what it had on it (ported heads, 278 cams, pistons ect....) I had been wanting a 4 valve for a long time , I saw this as a perfect chance to get one so I jumped on it . The motor is still going in the GT, it just wont be mine , no tears here though, the cobra is way better than the old GT was . AS it turned out everybody is happy I got a good offer on my car, and he got a fair price for what he has, the car was in OUTSTANDING shape and with all the mods to it and a NEW MOTOR he made out pretty well.

thanks , I will admit I was a little worried about it not putting down what it did, because of the notorious problems ford had with the 99's.

NO, I dont think so they are only rated at 317tq so with a 15% loss thru the drivetrain that would be around 270 and mine made 280. Mabye you are thinking of the newer 4 valves, they make more tq than mine does. The Mach cars are factory rated at 335 .

I had been wanting a 4 valve for a long time, so I had a first round list in my head for the last year or two.
