so i'm guessing the 300tq rating for the 2v is way low, my last dyno i made 252hp/296tq and that was minus a few tq producing mods i have now, i expect it to be right at or just over 300rwtq at this point...

i figured the 4v, even the older ones would make more tq than the 2v...interesting.

I read a review of the 99 Cobra from a 99 Muscle Mustang and FF mag, it said that due to the new cam profiles for 99 it hampered the tq production . I guess it was just on the 99 cars , that will be taken care of though after a set of, or should I say a double pair of cams .

Pughman has what I call the "mohawk" hood. Its a 4" Cobra RR hood IIRC.

hp is right on. tq on the gt is about 270, i had 280rwtq with x pipe, catback, plenum, t/b, cai.

that 296rwtq on the other gt seems very high. im only making 308 rwtq with cams and l/t so is hotmustang.

numbers vary.

You must have not seen my recent threads , I got a great offer on my 98 last week........10 grand for my car and the new motor . The guy that got it is a regular vistor to the speed-shop where all my work is done, so he already knew of my car and was aware of the new motor I had and what it had on it (ported heads, 278 cams, pistons ect....) I had been wanting a 4 valve for a long time , I saw this as a perfect chance to get one so I jumped on it . The motor is still going in the GT, it just wont be mine , no tears here though, the cobra is way better than the old GT was . AS it turned out everybody is happy I got a good offer on my car, and he got a fair price for what he has, the car was in OUTSTANDING shape and with all the mods to it and a NEW MOTOR he made out pretty well.

Wow, AWSOME #s. Must be great to start out there . It took cams to get me to 274 LOL.

Anyways you will have a beast on your hands when you get cams and all the boltons...should make 340ish RWHP.
And unfortunatly theres really nothing left in your tune from what I can tell....looks almost liek it was dyno tuned before. I have NEVER seen a factory mustang go 13-1 A/F like that bone stock...unless the "fix" did it, but i doubt ford could have done that .

when ford build cars they have a generic tune for that model and drivetrain. if ford really wanted to they can tune the best tuners under the table.

thats the same thing Wayne said, he was very supprised to see how well the A/F mixture was, but he also said after this round of bolt-ons he expected it to be off when I bring it back to him for the custom dyno tune with the new Sniper software he is useing now. Full exhaust, the coldair kit, massair, and possbily a TB will throw it off a little for sure . But hey, that is what custom tuneing on the dyno is for .
