I know you have to get something to adjust the speedo when you do gears, but what exaclty is it and where should i get it? Speedcal or speedo gear or something? My car is an 01 GT.

I hit a curb so i took it to ford for repair, they said i bent the diff. housing, so im gonna get them to put in the 4.10's while theyre back there. Think a ford dealer should be able to install the gears properly? I guess they should know what to do with the speedcal or whatever it is for the speedo calibration also?

Thanks

Can the ford dealership do this ECU reflash?
How much does it cost?

I called 4 local dealers and none of them said i could reflash the ecu.. they responded to me as if i was a retarded low-life who didn't know what i was talking about.. so i got a dyno tune.. gives a more exact recalibration since it matches the dyno's speed, plus advanced timing, exacted A/F ratio and turned off rear 02 sensors for my catted X. i think its worth the extra money if you've got some other mods that can benefit from a tune
