I originally posted this in the general automotive threads but I realized a the threads are a bit old, with no replies. I guess not a lot of people go into that section. I am re-posting here because I'm sure there are people in this section that have come across this before. Here it is:
I will be picking up a shop press to rebuild the rear end & T5 on my mustang. Anybody have any experience with a reasonably priced bearing separator or gear puller I can purchase. I'm a bit worried about the quality of the harbor freight set. I worked in the automotive field in the past and my tools mainly consist of snap on and Matco but I'm not really interested in spending $150 plus on one. $50 to $100 may not be too bad for me.
