Good Clutch?

Th stock flywheel will be fine as long as you resurface it. The only other thing you will need is a billit clutch quadrant. The stock one is made of plastic, and it cannot handle to pressure of the upgraded clutch. They are not that expensive, you can get them easily for under $100, sometimes even under $50.

How much experience do you have at the track on a stock clutch? I know a ton of guys that run the s**t out of the stocker and get a long life on it where as aftermarket is so so. You think you abuse your clutch more than me?

I dont know if you are talking to me, but I'm not talking about the clutch, I am talking about the quadrant not holding up. I know thestock clutch can take some abuse, but for a high horsepower application like I have the stock clutch cannot hold up.

high horsepower you are right, for a bolt on slick car they are great.

summitracing.com , call them , they centerforce dual friction is $307 . UPR and Dallas mustang have great prices on cable and quadrant upgrades too , about 50 bucks , TO bearing is about 35 through summit for the centerforce brand bearing .
