Mods are in my sig. Trickflow street intake (idle-5500). Pulls to the red line now but not hard enough. It's not tuned either.

Basically, $$. I would have gladly put heads on it but I have to wait. I have the $$ but me wifee .. well - you know. Any suggestions for injector sizes with like..say.. edelbrock performer heads? I know I need mass air meter and TB too. I am not sure what to get their either.

I do wish I would have gone with suggestions and gotten the 3:73's though. I may go to 3:90's after all is said and done. Me 3.55's rev to low on the beltway in my-o.

So..let's say I get the maf, injectors, TB and heads. Is it possible that this car could hit 12's on that combo?

o' also, I'm at 12dg timing. Anyone know how much difference between that and 14 as far as perfor, ance?

BTW, I know I have said this b4 but my 90GT felt faster. I read on a reputable car site like Edmonds or something that the 90's were only 2850 pounds vs my 3400 (after a few minus's) vert. That would explain it. Basically it's equlvalent to 1/10th per 100 pounds.

get it tuned, that should help a good bit.

are the heads just port matched, or are they completely ported? i have ported e7s from thumper. mine pulls strong in the mid range, but i never go to the red line, so i can't say anything about that part of the range.

remember also that the throttle body on the foxes opens faster because of the shape of the pulley. that also makes it feel faster, even though it may really be as big a difference as you might think.

I'm by no means an expert, but would the lack of a Cat-back system possibly be restricting the amount of air that he's able to move right now?
Also, before I got to the bottom of the thread, I was thinking MAF and (IMO) 70mm TB.
As expensive as tunes are, I'd wait 'till you have Intake and heads complete (probably cat-back too)

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I have looked into cat-backs and haven't seen any significant gains for the price, mainly sound effects. I do have 40 series flows although I don't think that gives it much either. I agree with the tune. I am debating as to whether to get it now or not. $$ would say wait until I get the other stuff so I don't spend it twice though, I agree.

Just port matched. I don't take it to the redline hardly ever either. I am conservative with it. BUT I want to know it's got it if I want it. I am waiting for the "click" in my head that says "you're there." It's not there yet.
