is $260 a good price to get a T5 installed (i'm supplying)? or should i keep looking around.

Had my rear main seal done for $200 a year ago. That requires more labor that just doing a trans swap. Look into doing it yourself, its a fairly easy process or find someone who has done it and can help you.

You should definately look into doing it yourself. It really isn't that hard to do or all that time consuming.

I'v done three of these already. I can have a t5 out, install clutch and in in 3 hours. So to answer your question yes $260 is a bit high.
