Lacuna Coil is pretty good. Download their stuff and let me know what you think.

You should try Tool's stuff before lateralus, and A perfect circle's stuff is good as well.

Check out www.allmusic.com if you want to look up artist's cd's and tracks. It's a great utility for downloading.

I downloaded some Lacuna Coil stuff. Heaven's a Lie is awesome! I LOVE A Perfect Circle.

I downloaded some new disturbed, it's okay, I like Stricken. I love the Theory of a Deadman stuff, especially Santa Monica. Alice In Chains "Man in the Box" is pretty good too.

Then he must have recorded the new CD I have in his coffin?

Why no heavy metal?

Heres a few songs to DL but they may be too heavy for ya:

Soilwork - 'nerve', 'stabbing the drama'

Bloodsimple - 'sell me out', 'plunder', 'straight hate'

Black Label Society - 'in this river', 'bleed for me'

Mudvayne - 'happy', 'forget to remember'

*disclaimer* These are all probably too heavy for you

I downloaded the mudvayne songs, they're pretty good. I just started downloading the rest of those, I'll let you know how I like them. Thanks for all the suggestions guys! :SNSign:

Yea I like them, I already downloaded Daylight Dancer. I'll have to download those others tonight. I really like Soilwork's stuff, especially Nerve. I like Bloodsimple too. Good call! I didn't know if I'd like them or not.

Most of the bands I listen to will probably be too hard. I just saw Fear Factory and Soilwork Front row Saturday night, awesome show! Christian(the guitarists, ex basist, for fear factory gave me his pick, it was cool).
Try:
Dry Kill Logic
Trivium
Kill Switch Engage
Ill Nino
40 Below Summer

Ill prolly think of more later

What is hard rock anyway? Ever try Raised Fist or Straightfaced? Not so well known. Of course Slayer and Rammstein is always decent for hard rock. Machine Head is definitely hard rock, they're pretty good.

BTW, I get everything from AllofMP3.com you have to pay but it's super cheap. I bought 7 albums last week for $15. Plus you can sample everything in case you haven't heard of them. If you sign up you get 1:30 samples instead of just 0:30.

You guys must be like die hard music fans ..... because I don't know of alot of the bands that are mentioned. I listen to all different kinds of rock and a few other things. I guess I'm always listening to the stuff that is popular at the moment (being played on the radio). I love that new 10 Years song "Wasteland".

This one is kind of different, but try The Donnas. They're a chick group, but they rock pretty hard. We've seen them live although I never even heard of them before we saw them in concert. They have the song that's on one of the new Nissan commercials, it's called something like "You're Gonna Fall Behind Me". Another song that sounded good in concert was "Take it off". I like the heavier stuff like Disturbed,Godsmack, Megadeth, etc. but these chicks hit it pretty hard!! Something to check out anyway.
