Got 32v? I got an exhaust question.

With the recent purchase of a stock Mach 1, I'm now looking to put some aftermarket mufflers on it.. I have Borla XR1's sitting in the garage that I took off the Gt awhile back, but do straight-through mufflers take away from the "gurgle" exhaust note that makes the 32v worth owning? If so, I plan on putting flows on this car instead - I've heard Cobra's with flows that retained & greatly amplified the "gurgle." I'm trying to avoid doing the exhaust job twice.

*I listened to some exhaust clips on mustangexhaust.com, but I still couldn't make a clear decision.
