Got a few questions

I just picked up a 91 Gt with 71,000 miles for 3500 and i got a few questions about it. The side marker on the left side of my car blinks when i use the blinkers but when the blinkers arent on the light isnt lit but the marker on the other side is. Just wondering if anyone knows what might be wrong. Also, when i start my car up the first time for the day or even if the engine is cooled down, there is a popping noise coming out of the tailpipes. When i turn the key, the car will crank over and rev up and when the revs are coming down, at about 1400 rpm there is a popping noise. Even if i give it alittle gas the popping still occurs. Can anyone help me diagnose these problems

As far as the blinker, it's probably a dual usage bulb with 2 filaments inside, and one is burnt out, just replace it and you should be fine.
