I need some help with engine questions. I have an 03 GT and the warranty just ran out so I want to make some performance mods to it. I still have the stock 4.6L manual with no aftermarket parts. I've been saving up for the warranty to expire so I could start working on it. I don't even know if it is possible but I wanna get any where from 400hp to 450hp and still be good for Colorado's engine laws and emitions. I use the car for everyday driving but I just want a lot more powerthwn what I have now. I don't know whether it would be better to buy engine parts (i.e. cams, pistons, turbo, computer, exhust, etc) or a preformance crate motor. Also, any suggestions on anything to give a preformance boost (i.e. tranny, rear end, gearing, etc) would be great. Any suggestions, sites, or ideas would be appreciated. Don't worry about cost, I'll decide if I can afford it. Thanks guys. If you wanna know anything specific about what I'm looking for then just ask but for the most part I'm open to all ideas.

Slap a blower on it and be done with it.

Will that still keep me good for the emitions tests and such? Are there any other ideas cause I don't really want to change the hood. I've already purchased an aftermarket hood but it doesn't have enough clearance for the blower. Also, any ideas for a good rear end cause I'm not sure if the stock one can handle it.
