Got a new windshield installed-wiper problems

Hey guys, I just got a new windshield installed today and am having some problems with my wipers. When I start the car, the wipers spring forward and greatly resist being pulled back into normal position. they are forcing themselves about 3 inches out onto the cowl grill. it seems that the switch on the steering column stalk wont make them move either, but i dont know if it is because they are out of alignment. it seems almost like the guy took them off and reattached them offset a couple notches or something. Is there an easy fix for this, or do I need to drive down and bitch to the shop tomorrow?

If you want to, you can try to re-align them..it's not that hard to get them off. You just pull out the spring tab at the bottom while pulling up on the arm. Sounds like they need to be adjusted upward a bit. But, since I'm lazy I would just go bitch to them and let them handle it.
