Well got my job back a month ago. So today i didnt feel like building the machine, sooooooooooooo i made myself my rear sway bar! I also found out we bought a tube bender so in the next couple months i'll be bending my own roll cage for free also of course! These sway bars run $270 ish in summit so i'm gonna start making them and selling them! View attachment 252641 peace

There's 1 problem i see, the plates that tie into the frame rails are straight in your picture. Where the sway bar needs to be mounted in the chassis, the frame rail is not perpendicular to the sway bar. Secondly, what type of bushing or bearing to you plan on using for the sway bar to ride in? And lastly what material is the sway bar itself made from? I looks like you're on to something, keep up the good work!

the plates are stright it's the "cups" that the sway bar sit in that are cut at an angle once i install it. i'm not sure on the bushiongs yet i'm going to my buddies this weekend to check out his sway bar he bought from wolf racecraft. then on monday i'll machine my bushing's to fit. this is a mock up/my proto type. The sway bar itself is TG&P. But thanks for the compliment if it was/is one. peace

Definatly a compliment. I was just curios to see if you are using a solid bronze bushing or roller bearing. (I like to use the bronze bushings my self) Any thought of using chrome moly for the swaybar?
