Was delivered today. Needs a few things here and there as the motor was just put together prior to my buying it. I'm off next week so I can address the cooling system, ignition, and a few wiring issues then it's off to be tuned. Overall, it's built extremely well. A few things that weren't mentioned in the auction:

-Disc brakes front and rear (nice!)
-back halved with full ladder bar suspension
-fiberglass front clip

Yeah, it ain't a Mustang . . . but, it sure looks nice parked next to my 2k3 GT! Should be a FUN project!

Whaddya' guys think?

Looks neato. What should it run in the quarter? Any car with that much tire that doesn't atleast run 10.0 is a waste

Congrats!

I'm not really sure about alot of things just yet. The guy I bought it from got this far and lost his job, so he had to abort. He thought the combination was good for about 650 hp or so. There are many things left to do before I can drive it. First, I gotta' address the cooling system - it gets real hot, real fast. More news later.

As usual, a project like this gets deeper and deeper as you dig into it . . . many things to keep me busy getting it ready for the street. Good thing I'm off all week! Feels weird to have my 'stang in perfect working order while I chase down parts . . . !

Holy crap! That thing looks awesome

I think you need to take it for a cruise on the street lol just so you can rattle people's windows out.

I think you did the smartest thing ever. Let someone else lose their butt in a project like that, then when they get tired of it, buy it for MUCH cheaper. That thing is GORGEOUS man, and I bet it will snap your neck.

Interestingly enough, the guy I bought it from did OK. I get the impression that the original builder was the one that lost his butt on it . . . but you're right - this is the only way to buy a car like this. Heck, I've got nearly as much in mods in my 'stang as I paid for this!

With any luck, I'll have it ready to drive by the weekend. It's going to need some serious tuning before it's ready for some WOT action though. I'm not too sure, but I gotta' believe the motor combo is good for 650 hp or so . . .
