Bouncy Cobra!

Got me a 1998 Cobra (what a difference from a v6) :worship:
It was lowered. When I go over bumps, it feels like I'm riding a roller coaster. It doesn't throw my driving off. I'm just wondering would getting better shocks and struts remedy this or will it take more than that?

Sounds like the car is underdamped. Congrats on the purchase. That particular car is near and dear to my heart.

If you are really interested in improving the ride quality and spending some money on better components, you need to identify what exactly was done to lower the car. Cut stock springs? Cheap aftermarket springs? High quality aftermarket springs?

Depending on what you find there will dictate the extent of changes that need to be made to improve the ride. It may be new struts only. It may be tossing out the current springs and getting come different ones in there. The good people at Maximum Motorsport are great at offering advice in this area since they have pretty much seen it all by now.
