well i finally fired my car up last night...everything seems ok so far but i can't really tell if there are any odd sounds coming from the motor since i don't have my exhaust hooked up and it's just running un capped. also i don't know what my oil pressure is because i can't tell if my oil pressure gauge is working properly since it's not moving when the car's off, when i start it or when it's idling. it just sits at about the "m" in "normal" the whole time. what do you guys think could cause this? anyways, here are some pics from start to finish.
oh yeah, my baby's not as pretty as some of you other guys' cars on here so be nice.

here's my old motor. when i pulled it i found my upper intake was cracked in two spots and only ONE motor mount was holding it on!
