got my gauges...few questions..

Those look really really good, got a link to some info on them? I'll be waiting to see pics of yours installed to push me over the edge on buying them. One of my next projects was going to be getting my gauges lit up better and this will be the best way to go. Driving the truck with the backlit gauges has killed me on the stock look of the fox gauges at night.

i got them from nrauto.com

there about 69.99

it was like 85 bucks after it was all said and done, ill be putting them on sunday night i get some pics when im done.

I put a set like that on an old car of mine. I tapped into the hot wire for the headlights and mounted the dimmer switch under the steering column. they are hella better than stock.

I dont care for the inverter lighting.
I Had a set of whiteface covers in my vert and I will put them in the 93 soon.
I removed the original overlays and put the new ons on and the factory lighting shows through fine.

On 12 volt lighting it usually dosent matter which is ground and positive. It normally works either way. If one wire is red and the other is black red is +

If its not marked and you hook it up wrong it usually wont hurt anything, normally it wont come one if its wrong.

ya the backlighting in mine is ****ty and ic an barley see them.
you happen to know what color the power wire is to the headlight switch?

You can pop the head light switch out and test it with a meter to figgure out which wire to tap into. I would find a wire that turns on and off with the parking lights.
