Just paint the hood scoop, for now, save you the cost of a new hood, put the money towards wheels and tires. At least it will make your LX look somewhat unique. BTW, the CAI is from Moroso, hardly ghetto. They fab up a nice black block off plate for the stock airbox hole in the fender, and you get the plain black elbow. The kit is very inexpensive and it probably flows just as well as another that comes with a brilliant chrome pipe.

yeah I 2nd the notion for painting the scoop, take it off and have it painted white, it should look pretty good once painted to match the body color... Bullets would look killer on that.

A new hood is on the list but for now I will start spending money on rims/tires and go-fast-goodies. I may just paint it white so it doesnt stick out like a sore thumb.

Im actually looking for a set of wheels like that... they'd make sick burnout rims, or throw a pair on the front with some skinnier tires for the track.
