I just wanted to drop by and say hello again. I just bought a 05 GT convertible, Black with a tan top and tan interior. It only has 7000 miles on it! I have been mostly off of Mustangs since having kids and selling my Cobra about 4 years ago. But, now I'm back and excited!

Why would you buy a convertible? Don't understand that.

Congrats, and welcome back to the family! Lets see some pics - both the S197 and the 69!

I see you are from Allentown - in PA or some other state? One of the mods on here (Jenn) is from that area and there are a few other members local to there as well. As you can see from my sig, I went to Lafayette..

I do like convertibles, so thats explains that. I will do some mods (gears, shifter, suspension, exhaust) but not until spring. I will try to post some pics after I get both cars outside together. The 69 is already covered up for winter (attached are some pics from this past summer). I am about 10 miles north of Allentown, PA.

Hey Shelby69! Congratulations on the Vert. The 69 is beautiful.

10 Miles from Allentown huh? Walnutport Area? I'm about 10 miles East of Allentown. lol

Hope you enjoy the S197 and don't miss the Cobra too much. As you can see from the sig, I am blessed with the best of both worlds. hahahhaha The TA is my daily driver, except when it snows and then I'm in the Tribute.

Welcome to the mustang family, I got the fastback cause it reminded me of my 69 mach 1 and it was cheaper. I've seen some verts with the roll bar or fake roll bar's, whatever they are that look pretty racey.

I always liked Camelback better - I had a season pass there for a couple season (I also go them for $200 since I was a college student, so it was worth it). Blue mountain has a bit more vertical drop, but not nearly as many top to bottom trails.

I actually grow up in Walnutport and still have family there. I live in Fogelsville now, right near Penn State Lehigh Valley. Have been to Blue Mtn lots of times, mostly at the lodge bar, not much of a skier.

Because verts are the only TRUE sports car experience.
If you want to beat others down the track, sure a hardtop is the way to go.
But if you want to enjoy yourself, really get in touch with the road and your environment, then a motorcycle is your only choice. If no motorcycle, then a vert...
