Got Power but wont crank

MY stang died in trafic the other day. Just completely died. I had it towed home and a buddy stoped buy we tested the bat but it has a strong charge every electrical thing works but it wont even crank my buddy says its the starter have any of you had this problem or ran into it before?

What are the symptoms? Clicking or silence when you turn the key?

Try going under the car and tapping your starter lightly with a hammer. SOmetimes that works when it's the starter but they usually give you some symptons before they go. Check you dist plug to and see if everything is squared away there also.
