Got premium for cheaper than anywhere

Filled up with 92 a little while ago at Costco for $2.74 a gal. While every other station around me is close to $3 if not above. What gives with the differences in gas prices? Some of the places have to be jacking up the price.

Just back from Maui. Premium topped $4! But I put the cheapest regular in the 05 vert I rented from Hertz. (Buy the way, never by a rental.)

That's midwest prices. The west coast always pays 25-50 cents minimum more than most anywhere else. Except for that $6.00 crap in Atlanta after the Hurricane.

$2.27 per gal reg unleaded in Blaine, WA for 3 days last week. Gas station price war. Now it's back to $2.59 per gal.

A gas war at $2.27 a gallon 5 years ago back where I lived in the midwest, 2 gas stations had a gas war and the price got down to .29 a gallon. I bought it at .59 a gallon and 3 hours later it was .29.
