Got Shims?

When you do an A-arm drop, the same shims(measurement) are used. So, there is really no need to buy some unless you loss some. But if you need some they should be available at any good local part stores. I know Dorman makes them. Call around..

yeah, I think some of them must have been swept up. I called the local napa but they don't keep any in stock, and the guy said it wasn't worth it for him to order a whole box. Only other place in town is Autozone, guess I'll give them a call. Would a hardware store have anything close?

We've got one alignment place in town. It just changed ownership. The guy running it is only 24 and doesn't have much experience. He told me that his computer told him my a-arms would have to be relocated because there was no way to adjust it. I tried to explain the shim thing to him, but he kept going back to "well the computer says..." The next closest shop is a 35-40min. drive and I want to have it as close as possible before I try that drive.
