Got a new book yesterday.

Mustang Performance Handbook: Volume 2

And... I picked up the Mustang Performance Handbook: Volume 1 right after Christmas.

Such excellent resources. Just thought I'd share.

The second one was much harder to find at a price I wanted to pay.

Originally sold for 15 bucks... they go for 85+ now.

There's one for sale on the other co**al site for 50 now.. it's a really informative book... unfortunately it was printed in 95... so it doesn't cover anything related to after 1995.

reminds me... i need to remove it from my sig..

Use Google to get the ISBN number of the books you want. With the numbers in hand, make a trip to your local library. They can use the ISBN number to get the book on loan to you for two weeks for free. A scanner or copier can retrieve what you want to save.

I love all my old 5.0 perfomance books, but you have to take what is said in some of those older ones with a grain of salt. Back when some of those books were written, they still thought small throttle bodies made better low end torque and that the FRPP "B" cam was the pinnacle of camshaft technology, haha.

I tried that... even went to Albuquerque over Christmas while visiting my parents... same story, didn't have one, couldn't get it. Went to San Antonio to visit my wife's family over New Years and they didn't have one in their system.

I picked up the second one, it's all about suspension, chassis, and brakes... with the exception of later sn95 brakes, it pretty much cover's everything else. Printed in 95 it misses out on everything after that, but it seems pretty comprehensive.
