I've been thinking about doing this for quite some time (some might remember the posts I made about it a few months ago). The reason I needed to do it was because of the light covers were faded badly and it stuck out especially at night in certain lights. I couldn't get them painted back laser red due to the car overall being faded so it would also stick out. The paint scheme is one which will either get me a few compliments, or result in me getting ragged on for it

I paid $100 for the light bezels, the license plate area, and the part in between the exhaust (wtf do you call that area other than lower bumper? ) I now need to repaint in my MUSTANG GT part, though I will do that later today.

The car is pretty faded though it doesn't exactly look pink to the eye. I do see in the picture how it does look like that

After I touch up on the MUSTANG GT part i'll take more pictures that hopefully won't seem like the car is barbie pink (even though it is close )

I do plan on getting the entire car painted eventually, though this time of the year isn't exactly the best time to drop 2k+ to do it

I wouldn't have went with black if I didn't have the black bullitts to go along with it. The next cosmetic mod will need to be an entire paint job, though that isn't exactly in the nearby future

A good bit of elbow grease can really shine up that paint and make it look great again. or Just have a detailer do it, much less then a paint job for now.

As for the painted, a bit scattered looking, but I'll say I like it.

I currently don't have a buffer or anything to help the paint at all. Maybe someone will be kind enough on christmas to supply me with one

Thanks for the compliments guys As for the people that don't like it, I knew it would be like that when I posted it up . It's not something that everyone has done so I bit the bullet and done it
