Well the guy was suppose to send 4.10 gears with my rearend package I bought and never showed up. Well Im filing a claim to get some of my money back because the other parts, posi and axles were good. Was wondering if or where I get the americanmuscle coupon code from? Was thinking of buying them new from there.
Thanks

I know you didnt ask and everyone says "Dont fear the gear" but is this for a strip car or DD? Mabey just a street toy? If its a DD I would suggest 3.73s. Ive had 3.55s (well do now) and 4.10 even 4.56s before but the 4.10s were abit much for DD usage IMO. Engine was always loud and reving high and in slow traffic sucked cause of the constant shifting. I like the 3.73s best. I would swap my 3.55s out for them but the car dosent hook till the top of third as is

Why do people order stuff like this from eBay??? Go with a reputable dealer... period. If I want a car patch for my fire jacket... eBay. If I want some gears, I go to my reputable shop in my area...

+1. Some times you are better off spending the money to know what you are getting.

Dude - it happens. If it's a replacement part that a local shop has to order or doesn't have in stock then I'll eBay it. Everything else I'll pick up locally. I've found craigslist to be an awesome place for parts as well.

Thats why ebay has the rating system, so you can see what the sellers history is. In my case it was 100 percent, no negatives. Even the best shops have negative reviews sometimes, locally or on the internet. I buy everything online and I am always looking for deals, so I must be in the 2 out of 10.

that's just crap.

I got stiffed years ago by an up and coming performance shop. It's too bad people have to get scammed, robbed, etc.

Hope you get your money back. Wish this idiots had to pay for mental distress. Performance people need to be compensated for the time they wish they had their parts and the agony caused by these crooks.

If this was true i'd be a much poorer college student. Buying stuff for cheap (and specifically often selling it for much more) has funded many a modular exploration into horsepower.

File a claim through paypal, they have a heavy fist and can even close their bank account down. Prepare the best case with evidence, links ect you can and post it all at once. This is actually rather sure-fire.

I just picked up a cast iron gt block with only 32,000 miles on it recently for 100 bucks, going to start my forged bottom end quest. If you still have those I-beams your selling in a couple weeks ill probaly take them off your hands. May need your help getting a crank later also if you dont mind.

Wont have them likely in more than a day, either selling them to the highest bidder or givin a good deal to poisoned pony. And they are h-beams
I'm your guy if you need a cobra crank though.
