When I deleted my EGR I had issues with the bracket hitting the FPR. I used some 5/16" washers to space it off the FPR enough that it cleared. I was able to hook up my throttle cable and TV cable with no issues after that. And this was with a 1/2" phenolic spacer on the car. So either some washers or possibly some 5/16" id metal pipe that is cut to length and cut square on both ends.

i was just wondering what removing the egr spacer accomplishes? is it just for cosmetic purposes?
