Well as some of you know I got a new engine for my car. After three weeks and waiting for a few parts she is all done. In case some of you don't know I had a VT Sportsman short block and VT Stage 2 Blower Cams and springs put in.

The car runs great and sounds great too. It has a nice idle with slight lope to it. The exhaust is much louder now too. The car feels stronger but I haven’t had it past 2500 RPMs following VTs instructions.

The only thing I noticed is the RPMs kind of fluctuate when coming to a stop. They raise and then drop to about 500-1000 before settling, I figure that will be fixed in the tune. It should be tuned in the next couple weeks, as long as its nice out and I can get the 1000 miles on her. I going to have it dynod with just the cams so you guy will know how much a set of blower cams will net you on a low boost car ( 10-11 psi).

Well just thought everyone would like to hear. I will have pics up tomorrow even though you cant tell a difference, but Ill get a video up so you can at least hear the cams!

Next up is Cobra Fuel Tank and Pumps and 8 rib kit with 2.8 pulley.

Cool. What shop did you end up having the short block installed at? I'm still up in the air as to whether I want to do it myself, or let somebody else do it. I have like zero free time so any project just kills haha.

I dont really have time or the will to do something like this either. That why I had a friend of mine at Dimension Ford install it for me. He knows his s*** to say the least. Final price was $1,325 which I dont think was bad. This was also installing new cams and springs. It would have been cheaper but I was missing some gaskets but oh well. He said the quality of the block was great so to VT.

PICS COMING SOON
