I got my car professionally detailed here in Baton Rouge at H20 AutoSpa and all I can say is WOW! When I saw my car I was pretty much like It was a 350-400 dollar job but since I know a guy there I got it done for 250. Obviously it could have been done cheaper by myself, but these guys did a fantastic job and it took them forever because of how bad of shape my cars paint was in. I dropped the car off there last Friday around 430pm and I just got the car back today around 1130am. They usually had at least 2 people working on it per day to get it done and everything.

From what I understand, they had to wetsand one fender because of crazy hazing, clay the entire car, wash it, polish/swirl remover, wax, sealant, and quick detail. My back bumper had some scratches on it that when buffing got bigger so they threw in a free touch up that they wetsanded the entire rear bumper and buffed back up and looks fantastic. On my driver side rear panel the clear was uneven so they had to even all of that out and make it look amazing. They got all of the orange peel out of it and the car feels as smooth as silk if you run your fingers over it. Some quick pictures that I snapped are uploading to flickr as we speak so once that is done I'll post up pictures.

The reflections off the hood and roof are my favorite. Makes me wanna go detail my car right now. I'd planned on it, but it's all gloomy, so pics won't be good.

The wetsanding was part of a touch up job that they threw in for free since some of the scratches got bigger when they were buffing it. He told me that normally a touch up job is $100 bucks extra.

I have a black stang as well... The paint looks horrific right now... I planned on getting a professional detail as well.

I HOPE my car comes out as nice as yours!!!

What sort of maintenance do you have to do in order to keep it looking like that? I heard you always have to wax.

Also, from what the lady told me that was detailing it when I got there, all you have to do is really use this quick detail stuff after you are done washing it. It's made by turtle wax (I'll get the name of it later) and you use it when the car is damp/wet and wipe it off with a microfiber rag.

I can't see the pics. They just show up as "x". I'm at work though, so I will try when I get home! Hope they work. I love looking at sexy black paint jobs.

18x9/18x10 FR500's. I got them from www.dynojoe.com great customer service would definitely recommend him. He was the cheapest place to get them from, too.

Thanks for all the compliments guys

Car looks fantastic. I honestly had no idea that the two pictures of your roof and hood were not actually pictures of the subject. I thought maybe you put the wrong links in at first.

My only other cosmetic mods if I end up keeping the car instead of selling it are a Steeda Race Cowl hood (2.5in), Clear Corners, Blacked out Tails, CS rear bumper, and the CDC Duck Tail spoiler w/ 3rd brake light delete. I may convert to a GT500 front bumper, but I'm not sure yet. All of this would take place a long time from now though, lol.

295/45/18 out back and 255/45/18 up front on those wheels (18x10 and 18x9 respectively)
