Nice numbers Gael. Looks like you are making just about the right power for whats into the car. You'd be surprised how many people come to my dyno bragging how their motors make "XXX" power, and don't even come close. Your WOT A/F looks good too, right on the money at the higher rpms. I'd try a set of 50cc accel pumps, or some bigger squirters to get rid of that initial lean condition. Otherwise looks great!

CobraIILover, Yeah, he mentioned the squirters idea, I think I may do that. The guy who was tuning also commented that similar engines seem to like to run lean at idle and do great on it, it's just what they want to do. Thanks for letting me know that the HP sounds about right, a lot of ppl were getting me worried, saying that I should be making more HP and stuff. I thought I was doing pretty well with my combo.

TheEvII, The fuel pump is kinda in an awkward place, I don't have pics of it, I'll try to get some to you. It's basically near the rear axle, on the drivers side, I'll try to snag a shot for you, and yeah, I get a lot of buzzing, it's not too bad to bug me enough, exhaust is loud enough to drown it out while driving, but I hear it at idle.

Yeah, mine's mounted in the same place. I was just curious if your's buzzed like mine. Obviously the unibody causes some resonance. I'm going to try to insulate it with more rubber and I'll let you know if it gets any quieter.

nice numbers...about right where I'd expect those extra cubes to put it. Practically follows my 351's curves, except with 25 extra HP and 50 extra ft/lbs.

Mine did the same thing where it ran lean until just after 3000rpm. My guess would be that you need larger primary jets to fatten up the mixture before the secondaries start to open (unless this is a mechanical secondary carb.). You may also want to try a lighter secondary spring since the torque curve stays flat right to 2700rpm where I believe your secondaries are starting to open. Just speculating though...

BTW, my Holley pump is just as noisy, but the exhaust drowns it out.

Yeah, I think I may play with a few things myself. The carburetor is running mechanical secondaries, manual choke (not hooked up). I had never gone to a dyno before, it was pretty fun.

I like being able to hear the fuel pump, cause then I know it's running.

He's running a pretty mild combo. I don't think he needs a Race Demon.
