got the saleen dyno'ed, how do the #s look?

how do the sheets look? mods when the runs were done:
bbk longtubes, dr gas short off-road xpipe, saleen catback, saleen powerflash computer, bbk cold air intake, accufab 75mm t/b and plenum

It looks good but why did they not produce real A/F ratio data? That would be one of the main reasons I would have my car dynoed... To check the ratio through the power band...

A saleen with those mods is only making ~260 at teh wheels, am i missing something??

not sure what u mean, it shows a/f thru the whole 4th gear..whats the spike at the beginning?

Its normal. It takes a second for the fuel to catch up when you first hit the gas.
Your car is a bit on the lean side though.

13.8:1 is too lean. Get a tune before you have to rebuild teh engine again.

My Saleen stock N/A did 236 RWHP on a Mustang dyno. So I would have been a little higher on Dynojet.
Seems like a fair amount of $$$'s in mods for not much more than what mine did stock. Did you do a baseline pull before the mods?

no, bought the car with fms shorties and off-road hpipe with a sh1tty flowmaster weld-in job that butchered my saleen catback, strim was installed just as poorly with a vortech chip, no fuel pump, cams set off two teeth, iat sensor dangling in the bumper and a clothes hanger holding up the inlet pipe. wouldnt have been a happy dyno. luckily this thing was a good price for all the headaches ive been thru. now im just trying to figure out why its dyno'ing low. how do i know for sure if the numbers are calibrated? maybe the 92* weather and humidity just killed it?

If all of the mods you have one the car are: "bbk longtubes, dr gas short off-road xpipe, saleen catback, saleen powerflash computer, bbk cold air intake, accufab 75mm t/b and plenum" Then your numbers aren't really that low. If you want them to be higher, then try a different dyno. You might want to do a compression check if it was previously running a supercharger.

Not if Tim tunes your car . Mine starts out with the dip going down (rich) and then levels off. Its something Tim does to mkae the car safe as possable. Get you a dyno tune dude....the #s are still pretty good though. I wouldnt expect alot more. W/O LTs you would probably be in the mid 240s easy. They seem to help alot. Thats why I am getting some...already have my shorty Dr Gas to replase my full length Dr Gas.

You used to be S/Cd right?

in my opinion, they look a little low. if a stock Saleen dynos at 236, i would thought that long tubes would bring in like 16hp, and the tb/plenum with 8hp. plus the CAI, maybe about 5-10hp? I know the K&N FIPK dynos at 10.07hp at 4,000rpms on a 2000 GT. then again, adding the numbers up, i guess that seems about right.

Saleens are about as fast as a stock GT. They have a catback,UD pullys, and a flash program I think. They still run low 14s stock.

i wouldve thought leaner would make more power, as richer would make less...but who knows? does anyone know if the numbers are corrected based on the chart and what it says? i dont think the guy knew how to run the dyno because he did two pulls in 3rd gear, the 2nd run was in 4th that was the best run (obviously) the one i posted

the car does not have the saleen pullies installed because of the s/c which will be back on shortly with the addition of a afm pp it was sent back to vortech for a rebuild

You should always do the dyno in 4th gear since it's a 1:1.

But yeah, your numbers sound about right. I wouldn't be too worried about it.
