I had this problem with my 95 and it was just the harmonic damper. Are the dampers just as prone to going bad in the fox as they are in the 94-95's? It's a 93 with 120,000 miles. Same one I just posted about with an A/C prob. I figured it's worth a different thread.
When the car starts and when I just barely tap the throttle to get it around 1000 rpm, it shakes, then if I rev it higher, you can feel it.
I can think of only two things that would cuase it, the flywheel or the damper. I don't really think it could be the flywheel since the clutch feels just fine. Since I've experience the same problem with the 95, I figure it's probablly the damper. I'll know when I go to check the timing and I hope the timing hasn't been adjusted along with a turning damper weight
It also shakes on the highway at 60+. The brakes feel fine and the alignment feels good and the steering doesn't shake at all. Could that just be a tire? I was thinking a rear since I can't feel it in the steering wheel.
