well, I got a small oil and trans leak. thnking about pulling the motor and replace oil pan, rear seal, intake, valve cover gaskets as well as front and rear seals on the trans and maybe a new torque converter.

do you guys have any advice on anything that could be replaced/checked? tips on getting it done faster. Looking at about a 3-4 day turn around.
thanks in advance.

Might be easier (and quicker) to just pull the K-member. If you are changing the oil pan might as well pull the timing cover and swap the gasket there too but you would have to remove the crank pulley.

This would be a good time for p&p heads and/or cams if your budget allows. Deff easier to do that stuff out of the car.

If I was pulling the motor I would do as many things as I could to make it worth it

yeah I agree, but for the cost of P&P of heads and cam I just dont think the gains are worth the cost. I plan on running a KB or MPH kit when the time comes for a rebuild. It has 116k on it and still runs strong. Just dont like the smell of burning oil and the bottom of the car looking like trash.
